I have lots of hats, literally and figuratively.
I work in IT as a database engineer.  I love it.  The company I work for has great integrity.  It's always a challenge and some days you just want to scream, but then it's work.  If it wasn't they would call it something else, right?
Then I also help out at the dairy farm with the bookkeeping.  That means it’s that crazy time of year for taxes.
I’ve also got this little business to do taxes for.
So, what does that have to do with soap and art and all that?  It’s life, here in the US.  Paying your part.  It hurts. No doubt about it.  I don’t like spending the time and effort to do a good job so that I can sleep at night and not make my accountant crazy, either. Poor Amy.
I’m looking forward to that being done so I can refocus back on making soap and getting ready for the new art, fiber show and farmer’s market season.
Zeilinger wool just called today and our fibers are ready for pick up!  How exciting!  That will get added to our Etsy store as soon as I can run over to Frankenmuth, MI (It’s on the East coast; of Michigan, that is.  Up by the thumb, which, in Michigan is geographical as well as anatomical).
It’s always something to look forward to and be excited about and be thankful for.
Until next time---Deborah
